Crissy Crossbones
"Sticks and stones, she'll break your bones!"
Why this derby name and number?
Because I love bones and kickin' ass. My number is actually my birthday, September 23rd. However, 923 has always been dear to me, as this number sequence seems to pop up in my life all over the place.
What is your hometown?
Villa Park!
How did you get into derby?
I've always roller skated, so when the Dames were passing out flyers at the All Night Flea Market I couldn't resist! It was one of those things I didn't think I'd actually show up to, but I did, and it changed my life.
Who is your derby wife?
This is a tricky question, because there are actually three. I'm not necessarily pro derby-polygamy, but when you meet your derby counterparts and soul mates, you've gotta wife them. Terrapin Flyer, Annevel Knievel, and Beat Em Tender Hooligan.
Drink of Choice?
Captain and Diet with a lime.
Favorite song(s) to skate to?
I love me some current cheesy pop music to bop around to, but the following songs get me pretty pumped before I'm about to play:
Sleigh Bells: Infinity Guitars
Rancid: Ruby Soho
Girl Talk: All Day (the entire album, really)
Weapon of Choice?
Spelling and grammar usually do the trick, orrrr a nice hip check.
Favorite Movie?
Death Becomes Her
Non-Derby Hobbies?
Reading, commemorating the short sweet life of my hamster (RIP Vera), frequenting flea markets, garage sales or thrift stores, and making jewelry. And perhaps most obviously, making an ass of myself at every given opportunity.
Words of Advice?
"Avoid the clap" -Jimmy Dugan
If you could have one superhero power what would it be?
Flying!!!
If you weren't playing roller derby what would you be doing?
I'd be dead. Because I'm always going to be playing roller derby.
Favorite Quote?

Any last words?
"The galaxy is in Orion's b- b- belt...."
