How did you get into derby?
My son wanted to get into boxing at age 9. I would take him and was interested in the sport myself. We boxed together for years, but was hard to find girls for me to spar with. Tried kickboxing and finally had a fight. I trained 6 days a week and it ended up being a No Show!! I was very frustrated and wasn't interested in trying MMA. I saw on FB from Vindicated Vixens, "Who would like to try Roller Derby?" My eyes lit up and thought right up my alley. There will always be a ton of girls and instead of hitting with my fists, I can hit with my shoulders and hips. I loved roller derby ever since.

Non-derby hobby(s)?
I love being with family and dancing. I work out a lot at the gym to stay fit at my old age but not fun. LOL
