Why this derby name and number?
I was once asked to dress as Wonder Woman for a friend’s 40th birthday (he’s a major WW fan) and she just kinda stuck with me. My number is my wedding anniversary. My husband is a big supporter of me getting into derby, so it’s my way of having him with me on the track

I’m a displaced Chicagoan now living in the lovely Lombard.
What position(s) do you play?
Blocker/Jammer
How long have you been playing derby?
Only since 2014. I’m pretty new to the sport.
Current Occupation?
I’m an Instructional Designer. I won’t bore you with the details, but it’s actually pretty fun.

I’m currently derby single.
Drink of Choice?
Moscow Mule. Delicious with a kick!
How did you get into Derby?
I went to 2010 WFTDA Championships Uproar on the Lakeshore when a friend who’s a bench coach for a team in Denver was visiting. It was my first time seeing flat track derby and I instantly fell head-over-wheels in love and had to find a way to get derby into my life. It took me until 2014 to finally have the chance to get on skates and start playing derby.
Weapon of Choice?
Charm. It gets ‘em every time.
Favorite Movie?
If I have to choose just one, it'd have to be Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, or Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Playing with my beagle and two cats, reading, traveling, and seeing countless movies with the husband.
Favorite song(s) to skate to?
Cobrastyle by Robyn.
Words of Advice?
If there’s anything out there you’d like to try and you end up saying, “I’d really like to do that, but…” just get rid of the but and just do it. You’ll always find a million reasons not to start something new, but it could very well be your next adventure.
If you could have one superhero power what would it be?
Telekinesis. There’s so much I could do with it: walk the dog from the comfort of my couch, lift my car into a parallel parking space, move opposing blockers out of my way…the list is endless.
If you weren't playing roller derby what would you be doing?
Probably reprising my role as the Crazy Cat Lady. My cats have missed having me as their furniture now that I’m away at practice so much.
