Roselle, Illinois (September 19, 2015)–An action-packed Saturday night awaits as the DuPage Derby Dames host a doubleheader on September 19, 2015, at Coachlite Skate Center in Roselle, Illinois.
The Dames host special guests the Chicago Bruise Brothers Rhythm & Bruise in a co-ed bout—first whistle at 6:00 p.m.
The main event starts at 7:30 p.m. featuring the DuPage Derby Dames’ Outrage battling it out on the track with the Root River Roller Girls (Racine, Wisconsin).
A portion of the bout proceeds will go to one of the Dame’s favorite charities, the People’s Resource Center.
Tickets are $12 at the door or $10 in advance via https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2131716. Kids 8 and are free. Must be 21+ to purchase alcohol.
About the DuPage Derby Dames:
The DuPage Derby Dames, formed in 2010, is the premiere flat track roller derby league in the suburbs of Chicago. The Dames’ mission is to provide the people of their community with an opportunity to get involved in the exciting, fast-paced sport that fosters respect and builds confidence.
The DuPage Derby Dames strive to promote athleticism and camaraderie among their skaters through competitive sport, regular practice and do-it yourself management. Every member exhibits behavior that brings honor and distinction to the league, the sport of roller derby and the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). The league is completely member owned and operated.
